R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Martha Santana-Garcia has earned great distinction
with her outstanding service as principal of Alfonso Borrego Sr.
Elementary School in the San Elizario Independent School District;
and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the
students, faculty, and staff of Alfonso Borrego Sr. Elementary
School, Ms. Santana-Garcia has led the way in fostering a
supportive and challenging educational environment on campus; and
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing
vitality of our state, and Martha Santana-Garcia is playing an
instrumental role in helping students to reach their full potential
and become engaged and productive members of their community; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Martha Santana-Garcia for her
contributions as principal of Alfonso Borrego Sr. Elementary School
and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Santana-Garcia as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
