WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories | ||
of Madeline Hinds Haire of Spring Branch, who passed away on January | ||
31, 2019, at the age of 81; and | ||
WHEREAS, The daughter of Claude and Mabel Hinds, the former | ||
Madeline Hinds was born in 1937, and she grew up in DeSoto Parish, | ||
Louisiana, with three siblings, Terral, Jerry, and Gloria; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mrs. Haire was the devoted mother of three | ||
daughters, Sharon, Sheila, and Shelley, and she had the pleasure of | ||
seeing her family grow to include three grandsons, Michael, Joey, | ||
and Joshua, and a great-granddaughter, Olivia; and | ||
WHEREAS, Later in life, Mrs. Haire moved from Louisiana to | ||
Comal County, where she enjoyed the beauty of the Hill Country; she | ||
liked to cook and garden, and above all she treasured the time spent | ||
in the company of her loved ones; a woman of faith, she was a | ||
longtime member of Wallace Baptist Church in DeSoto Parish; and | ||
WHEREAS, Madeline Haire possessed a generosity of spirit that | ||
expressed itself in myriad ways, and she enriched the lives of | ||
countless people with her warmth and kindness; now, therefore, be | ||
it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Madeline Hinds | ||
Haire and extend heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends; and, | ||
be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Madeline | ||
Haire. | ||
