| WHEREAS, Epifanio "Prieto" Quiroga Jr. of San Antonio passed | ||
| away on October 15, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving his loved ones | ||
| with a wealth of happy memories to treasure; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A San Antonio native, Epifanio Quiroga Jr. was born | ||
| on January 28, 1948, to Epifanio and Carlota Quiroga, and he grew up | ||
| in a large family that included his 13 brothers and sisters; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Quiroga took great pride in his children, Rosa, | ||
| Epi, Alex, and the late Robert Quiroga, who preceded his father in | ||
| death; he was further cherished by 11 grandchildren, Cristiana, | ||
| Paul, Crystal, Catheryne, Epi, Rhianna, Tristan, Kaitlyn, Jose, | ||
| Alejandra, and Alexander, and 4 great-grandchildren, Serenity, | ||
| Sophia, Anthony, and Robert, along with many other relatives and | ||
| friends; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Epifanio Quiroga was a source of joy and inspiration | ||
| to his wide circle of loved ones, and he will always hold a special | ||
| place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Epifanio "Prieto" | ||
| Quiroga Jr. and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his | ||
| family: to his children, Rosa De La Rosa and her husband, Paul, Epi | ||
| Quiroga and his wife, Charleen, and Alex Quiroga and his wife, | ||
| Debbie; to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; to his | ||
| siblings, Fausto, Linda and her husband, Rogelio, Ruby, Yolanda and | ||
| her husband, Rey, Israel and his wife, Mary, and Nena and her | ||
| husband, Juan; and to all others who mourn his passing; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Epifanio | ||
| Quiroga. | ||
