| WHEREAS, The trauma center at Chillicothe Hospital has earned | ||
| a Level IV designation from the Department of State Health | ||
| Services; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This prestigious recognition is awarded to | ||
| facilities that go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital | ||
| licensure requirements; valid for three years, the designation | ||
| reflects an institution's outstanding dedication to improving, | ||
| expediting, and standardizing the care of trauma patients; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to its outstanding trauma center, | ||
| Chillicothe Hospital offers a wide range of services, including | ||
| inpatient and outpatient care, ambulatory surgery, and radiology, | ||
| as well as mobile ultrasound, CT scan, and echocardiogram; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The physicians, staff, and administrators at | ||
| Chillicothe Hospital have worked tirelessly to ensure skilled and | ||
| compassionate care for their patients, and the hospital's receipt | ||
| of a Level IV trauma facility designation is a testament to their | ||
| ongoing commitment to excellence; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate the Chillicothe Hospital trauma | ||
| center on its designation as a Level IV facility by the Texas | ||
| Department of State Health Services and extend to all those | ||
| associated with the hospital sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| success with their important work; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the hospital as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
