A JOINT RESOLUTION
  proposing a constitutional amendment protecting the right to
  produce meat and meat food products naturally derived from
  livestock.
         BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 36(a), Article I, Texas Constitution, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (a)  The people have the right to engage in generally
  accepted farm, ranch, timber production, horticulture, or wildlife
  management practices on real property they own or lease. The right
  to engage in ranching includes the right to produce meat and meat
  food products naturally derived from livestock.
         SECTION 2.  This proposed constitutional amendment shall be
  submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 4, 2025.
  The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the
  proposition: "The constitutional amendment protecting the right to
  produce meat and meat food products naturally derived from
  livestock."
