H.C.R. No. 212

HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 2268 has been adopted by the house of
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for
enrollment; and
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be
corrected; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the 83rd Legislature of the State of Texas, That
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed
to correct House Bill No. 2268, in the SECTION of the bill added by
Senate Amendment No. 1 by Carona, in amended Subsection (b),
Section 4, Article 18.21, Code of Criminal Procedure, by striking
"only the following electronic customer data: (i) information
revealing the identity of customers of the applicable service;
(ii) information about a customer's use of the applicable service;"
and substituting the following:
only electronic customer data that is information revealing the
identity of customers of the applicable service or information
about a customer's use of the applicable service,
