| relating to consideration of certain appropriations in determining | ||
| the constitutional biennial appropriations limit. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 316.002, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | ||
| (f) Appropriations of state tax revenues from the economic | ||
| stabilization fund are appropriations of state tax revenues | ||
| dedicated by the constitution for the purposes of: | ||
| (1) Subsections (a)(2) and (3); and | ||
| (2) Subsection (e). | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
