A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to consideration of certain appropriations in determining |
|
|
the constitutional biennial appropriations limit. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 316.002, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: |
|
|
(f) Appropriations of state tax revenues from the economic |
|
|
stabilization fund are appropriations of state tax revenues |
|
|
dedicated by the constitution for the purposes of: |
|
|
(1) Subsections (a)(2) and (3); and |
|
|
(2) Subsection (e). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
