relating to penalties imposed on a holder of an alcoholic beverage | ||
license or permit on the basis of a criminal prosecution. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 11.641(c), Alcoholic Beverage Code, is | ||
repealed. | ||
SECTION 2. The repeal of Section 11.641(c), Alcoholic | ||
Beverage Code, applies only to the imposition of a penalty for a | ||
violation that occurs on or after the effective date of this Act. | ||
The imposition of a penalty for a violation that occurs before the | ||
effective date of this Act is governed by the law in effect | ||
immediately before the effective date of this Act, and that law is | ||
continued in effect for that purpose. | ||
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
