A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to the statute of limitations for an employment
  discrimination complaint.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Sec. 21.202, Labor Code, is amended to read as
  follows:
         Sec. 21.202.  STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS.  (a)  A complaint under
  this subchapter must be filed not later than the 180th 210th day
  after the date the alleged unlawful employment practice occurred.
         (b)  The commission shall dismiss an untimely complaint.
 
         SECTION 2.  This act takes effect September 1, 2015.
