A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to implicit bias training for members of the legislature
  and legislative employees.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Subchapter F, Chapter 301, Government Code, is
  amended by adding Section 301.073 to read as follows:
         Sec. 301.073.  IMPLICIT BIAS TRAINING. (a)  Each house of
  the legislature shall require each member of that house and each
  employee of that house to complete training on implicit bias at
  least once every two years.
         (b)  The member or employee shall submit to the applicable
  house a statement verifying that the member or employee completed
  the training.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
