BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 52.047, Government Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (h) to read as follows:
(h) A court reporter may not be required to file an official
transcript of a trial before the 60th day after the date a notice of
appeal is filed. To the extent this subsection conflicts with the
Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure or other rules of procedure,
this subsection controls. Notwithstanding Sections 22.003,
22.004, and 22.108, the supreme court or the court of criminal
