Amend SB 2212 (senate committee report) in SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Article 2.33(b), Code of Criminal Procedure, as follows:

(1)  On page 1, line 31, between "if" and "making", insert the following:

(2)  On page 1, line 32, between "injury" and the underlined period, insert the following:

(2)  the officer is injured and physically unable to make the request or provide the treatment
