Bill Title: As enacted, creates the Labor Education Alignment Program (LEAP) to allow participating students to apply combined occupational training and academic experience toward attaining post-secondary credentials needed for employment in high-technology industries in the state; authorizes technology centers and community colleges to establish a program; outlines the duties of the department of economic and community development, the higher education commission, and the department of labor and workforce development in administering and implementing the program. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 9; Title 49; Title 50 and Title 67.
