Bill Title: As introduced, extends the time, from 20 days to 30 days, in which a person who asserts ownership of allegedly stolen scrap jewelry or precious metals has to file a report of the theft of the property to law enforcement to permit recovery of the property from a buyer or dealer of scrap jewelry or precious metals. - Amends TCA Title 38, Chapter 1 and Title 38, Chapter 3.
