Bill Title: As enacted, revises archaic language prohibiting members of the general assembly from being nominated or commissioned as, or practicing attorneys from serving as, sheriff and instead prohibits a person from engaging in the practice of law or serving as a member of the general assembly while serving as sheriff. - Amends TCA Section 8-8-101.
