Bill Title: Subject to local approval, changes the date, from the first Thursday to the first Friday in February, by which the board of mayor and aldermen must call for an election each year; lowers the minimum age, from 21 to 18, for a person to serve as mayor or alderman; removes requirement that members of the board acquire surety bonds. - Amends Chapter 553 of the Acts of 1903; as amended.
