Summary

As introduced, increases the number of BEP funded full-time public school nurse positions from one per 3,000 students to one per 750 students; increases the number of full-time public school nurses considered sufficient for the public school nurse program to adequately provide services from one nurse per 3,000 students to one nurse per 750 students; requires the BEP formula to fund full-time school counselor positions at a ratio of one per 250 students or one full-time school counselor position for each LEA, whichever is greater. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 3, Part 3 and Title 68, Chapter 1, Part 12.
