Summary

As enacted, makes denial of a claim made by the estate of a law enforcement officer for the annuity payable to the estate of an emergency responder who is killed in the line of duty subject to review by the Tennessee peace officer standards and training commission within 90 days of the claim's denial; redefines "law enforcement officer" for purposes of determining which law enforcement officers are considered an emergency responder whose estate would be eligible for the annuity. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8 and Title 38.
