Summary
As introduced, changes the time within which a warden or chief administrative officer employed by a penal institution must report the commission of certain offenses that occurred within the penal institution to the district attorney general for the judicial district in which the penal institution is located and the district attorney general who prosecuted the offense for which the offender is incarcerated from within five business days to within three business days of becoming aware of the offense being committed. - Amends TCA Title 8; Title 10; Title 33; Title 36; Title 37; Title 38; Title 39; Title 40; Title 41; Title 49; Title 50; Title 55 and Title 70.
