Summary

As introduced, requires a prescribing healthcare practitioner to discuss certain risks associated with a prescribed Schedule II controlled substance prior to an initial prescription and following the third prescription of the drug during a course of treatment; requires the practitioner to document the discussion of such risks in the patient’s medical record. - Amends TCA Title 53 and Title 63.
