Summary

As introduced, increases, from $500 to $1,000, the penalty that a person is subject to, in addition to damages, when the person injures or destroys a portion of the gas fixtures, or other property belonging to a gas company, or willfully opens a communication into the street or other gas pipes, or lets on gas after it has been stopped by the gas company. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7 and Title 65.
