Summary

As introduced, requires the department of health to study the utilization of provider-based telemedicine among persons over 65 years of age, with particular emphasis on usage among those persons who are unable to travel independently or who use telemedicine solely for the purpose of renewing prescriptions for life-sustaining medications; requires other departments to assist the department of health upon request; requires the department to report its findings to the health-related committees of the general assembly and the legislative librarian by December 15, 2022. - Amends TCA Title 56 and Title 63.
