Summary

As introduced, authorizes persons issued commercial driver licenses bearing hazardous materials endorsements to elect not to renew the endorsement; permits the person to notify the department of safety of the nonrenewal by mail, telephone, or electronically; prohibits the persons from being required to appear in person at driver license stations for related purposes. - Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 50.
