Summary

As introduced, increases from 20 to 30 the number of days within which a sentencing court must hold a hearing to consider a petition requesting the denial of an offender's suspension of sentence based on the offender's threat to public safety as indicated by a pattern of prior violent or drug-related criminal behavior. - Amends TCA Title 38; Title 39; Title 40 and Title 41.
