Summary

As introduced, prohibits certain licensing authorities from automatically barring an individual from licensure because of the individual's criminal record; requires the licensing authority to provide individualized consideration of an individual's criminal record and circumstances; specifies which convictions a licensing authority may consider in making a determination for licensure; makes other changes related to licensure determinations and criminal records. - Amends TCA Title 62 and Title 63.
