Summary
As introduced, requires LEAs' applications for free and reduced price lunches to ask for parents' income in a simple, straightforward manner; prohibits applications from containing the income limits for eligibility; requires that the applications notify parents that any statement made about income is subject to verification; requires LEAs to annually verify the income information on at least 10 percent of the applications. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 1; Title 49, Chapter 2; Title 49, Chapter 3 and Title 49, Chapter 6.
