Summary
As introduced, requires a procurement organization, or such organization's designee, that contacts an individual following the death of the decedent for purposes of allowing the individual to make an anatomical gift to explain to the individual that the individual can designate the decedent's whole body or a part; the process of making an anatomical gift and the condition the decedent's body will be in after the completion of the process; and that at the completion of the process, the decedent's body may be in a condition that necessitates cremation of the remains. - Amends TCA Title 68.
