Summary

As enacted, creates an enhancement factor, by which the defendant's sentence can be increased, where the defendant is convicted of committing a violent offense against a uniformed law enforcement officer or uniformed member of the military or national guard and the defendant intentionally selected the victim because of the victim's status as a law enforcement officer or service member. - Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 40.
