Summary

Amend The Code Of Laws Of South Carolina, 1976, By Adding Section 2-1-105 So As To Provide That After July 1, 2019, A Member Of The General Assembly, Or An Immediate Family Member Of A Member Of The General Assembly, May Not Apply For Or Be Awarded A Job With The State If The Job Is Funded In Whole Or In Part By A State Appropriation And Is Subject To Approval Upon The Advice And Consent Of The Senate, And That This Prohibition Applies Until A Member Of The General Assembly Ceases To Be A Member Of The General Assembly For A Period Of At Least One Year.
