Summary

Provide That The Governing Body Of A School District May Waive The Statutory Requirement That Schools Make Up Full Days Missed Due To Inclement Weather Or Other Disruptions For Three Or Fewer Full School Days Missed Due To Inclement Weather, Three Or Fewer School Days Missed Due To Disruptions Created By Malfunctioning Hvac Or Other Building Systems, Or Any Combination Of The Two, To Provide A District May Not Exercise These Waivers Until It Has Exhausted All Statutorily Required Make-up Days Remaining On The 2014-2015 School Calendar, And To Provide The Exercise Of These Waivers By A School District Also Waives The Requirement For Approved Home Schools In The District.
