Summary

Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Adding Section 63-5-380 So As To Prohibit Operators Of Internet-based Applications From Using "automated Decision Systems" To Place Content On Social Media Platforms For Users Under The Age Of Eighteen Who Are Residents Of The State Of South Carolina, To Require Operators To Perform Age-verification Practices For Certain Users, To Establish That A Violation Is An Unfair Or Deceptive Act Or Practice Under The South Carolina Unfair Trade Practices Act, And For Other Purposes.
