Summary

Amend Article 3, Chapter 3, Title 23 Of The 1976 Code, Relating To The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division's Criminal Information And Communication System, By Adding Section 23-3-155, To Require The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division To Provide An Information System Accessible To State And Local Law Enforcement Agencies For The Purpose Of Performing Disciplinary History Background Checks On Prospective Employees, To Require State And Local Law Enforcement Agencies To Report Disciplinary Actions To The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division's Central Record Repository, And To Provide That The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division May Not Impose A Fee For A Records Search.
