Summary
Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Adding Section 56-5-2925 So As To Provide Drivers Of Motor Vehicles Who Commit Acts Forbidden By Law Or Neglect Duties Imposed By Law Related To Driving Motor Vehicles, If The Acts Or Neglect Result In Great Bodily Harm To Other Persons, Are Guilty Of A Misdemeanor, To Provide That Drivers Of Motor Vehicles Who Commit Acts Forbidden By Law Or Neglect Duties Imposed By Law Related To Driving Motor Vehicles, If The Acts Or Neglect Result In The Death Of Other Persons, Are Guilty Of A Felony, And To Provide Appropriate Penalties; And To Amend Section 56-5-2946, Relating To Submissions To Testing For Alcohol Or Drugs, So As To Provide Persons Must Submit To Testing For Alcohol Or Drugs If The Persons Commit Acts Forbidden By Law Or Neglect Any Duty Imposed By Law In The Driving Of Motor Vehicles And The Act Or Neglect Proximately Causes Great Bodily Injury Or Death To Other Persons.
