Summary
Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Adding Section 58-17-1685 So As To Require A Railroad Corporation To Provide A Commodity Flow Study To The Office Of Regulatory Staff And Each County Governmental Body In Which The Railroad Corporation Transports Hazardous Materials; And By Adding Section 58-17-3470 So As To Require A Class 1 Railroad Corporation To Cooperate With Local Governmental Entities To Provide Dedicated Emergency Response Equipment And Training To First Responders That Would Provide Initial Emergency Response In The Event Of A Railroad Incident Involving Hazardous Materials.
