A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAY MISSED ON FEBRUARY 4, 2009, BY THE STUDENTS OF MIDWAY ELEMENTARY, BETHUNE ELEMENTARY, MOUNT PISGAH ELEMENTARY, BARON DEKALB ELEMENTARY, NORTH CENTRAL MIDDLE, AND NORTH CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOLS WHEN THE SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED DUE TO SNOW IS EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT THAT FULL SCHOOL DAYS MISSED DUE TO SNOW, EXTREME WEATHER, OR OTHER DISRUPTIONS BE MADE UP; AND TO PROVIDE THAT SCHOOL DISTRICTS MAY CLOSE FOR UP TO THREE DAYS OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT'S CHOOSING DURING THE 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR AND THAT MAKE-UP REQUIREMENTS ARE WAIVED. - ratified title
