Summary

Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Amending Section 23-3-540, Relating To Electronic Monitoring; Reporting Damage To Or Removing Monitoring Devices, And Associated Penalties, So As To Delete The Provision Prohibiting Persons Required To Register As Sex Offenders For Committing Criminal Sexual Conduct With A Minor In The First Or Third Degree From Petitioning The Court To Be Released From The Electronic Monitoring Requirement.
