Summary

An Amendment To Article Vi Of The Constitution Of South Carolina, 1895, By Adding Section 7a So As To Provide That Upon The Expiration Of The Term Of The Comptroller General Serving In Office On The Date Of The 2020 General Election, His Successor, Who Must Be A Certified Public Accountant Licensed To Practice In This State And In Good Standing With The Regulatory Entity Of This State Licensing And Regulating Certified Public Accountants, Must Be Appointed By The Governor For A Term Coterminous With That Of The Governor.
