| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia Health and Education |
2 | Corporation for the Colleges of Medicine, Public Health, |
3 | Nursing and Health Professions for continuation of pediatric |
4 | services. |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. The sum of $317,000 is hereby appropriated to the |
8 | Philadelphia Health and Education Corporation, for the fiscal |
9 | year July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010, for continued pediatric |
10 | outpatient and inpatient treatment of severe physically |
11 | disabling diseases. |
12 | Section 2. Payments to the Philadelphia Health and Education |
13 | Corporation on account of the appropriation provided in section |
14 | 1 shall be made in equal quarterly payments by the Secretary of |
15 | Health. |
16 | Section 3. The Philadelphia Health and Education Corporation |
17 | shall provide full, complete and accurate information for the |
18 | appropriation under section 1 as may be required by the |
19 | Department of Health or the chairman or the minority chairman of |

1 | the Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the chairman or |
2 | the minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the |
3 | House of Representatives. |
4 | Section 4. The trustees of the Philadelphia Health and |
5 | Education Corporation for the Colleges of Medicine, Public |
6 | Health, Nursing and Health Professions shall report on forms |
7 | provided by the Department of Health to both the chairman and |
8 | minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate |
9 | and the chairman and minority chairman of the Appropriations |
10 | Committee of the House of Representatives by September 30, 2010, |
11 | on how State-appropriated funds were expended for fiscal year |
12 | 2009-2010 to provide services to Pennsylvania residents. |
13 | Section 5. This act shall take effect immediately. |
