Bill Title: An Act amending Title 74 (Transportation) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for allocation of additional dedicated funding to public transportation systems; creating a service stabilization and state of good repair program; creating a Major Capital Initiative Program; providing for distribution of supplemental funding; further providing for use of funds distributed; providing for establishment of new formulas for public transportation funding in small urbanized areas and rural areas and for community transit; establishing a new funding mechanism for intercity passenger rail services; and providing for public transportation efforts to raise revenue by alternative means and for cooperative procurement.
