Requires Oregon Health Authority to report to Legislative Assembly on cost to coordinated care organization of complying with program requirements. Sunsets January 1, 2014. Declares emergency, effective on passage. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to compliance costs of coordinated care organizations; and declaring an emergency. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + (1) The Oregon Health Authority shall submit a written report to the Legislative Assembly in the manner described in ORS 192.245 on the cost to a coordinated care organization of complying with each program requirement imposed on a coordinated care organization by the authority by rule or contract terms. (2) The report is due to the Legislative Assembly on the later of: (a) July 31, 2013; or (b) Thirty days after the effective date of this 2013 Act. + } SECTION 2. { + Section 1 of this 2013 Act is repealed January 1, 2014. + } SECTION 3. { + This 2013 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2013 Act takes effect on its passage. + } ----------
