                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
                         SENATE BILL 725

         By COMMITTEE ON HEALTH CARE AND HUMAN SERVICES

                            April 19

  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 2, delete 'creating new
provisions; amending ORS 414.625;'.
  Delete lines 9 and 10 and insert:
  ' (b) Except as provided in subsection (3) of this section, may
not be amended more than once in each 12-month period; and'.
  After line 15, insert:
  ' (3) A contract entered into between the authority and a
coordinated care organization may be amended more than once in
each 12-month period if:
  ' (a) The authority and the coordinated care organization
mutually agree to amend the contract; or
  ' (b) Amendments are necessitated by changes in federal or
state law.'.
  Delete lines 16 through 30 and delete pages 2 through 5.
  On page 6, delete lines 1 through 11.
  In line 12, delete '6' and insert '3'.
