Appropriates moneys from General Fund to State Department of Fish and Wildlife for purposes of implementing certain recommendations of Task Force on Geese Control related to agricultural depredation caused by geese. Declares emergency, effective on passage. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to geese; appropriating money; and declaring an emergency. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + In addition to and not in lieu of any other appropriation, there is appropriated to the State Department of Fish and Wildlife, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2011, out of the General Fund, the amount of $_______, which may be expended to implement, to the extent allowed by law, the recommendations + } { + of the Task Force on Geese Control, created by chapter 245, Oregon Laws 2009, related to agricultural depredation caused by geese. + } SECTION 2. { + This 2011 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2011 Act takes effect on its passage. + } ----------
