                             SUMMARY

  Requires State Board of Higher Education, Oregon Health and
Science University Board of Directors or community college board
to receive approval from commodity commission for disposition of
intellectual property if commission provided monetary assistance
to board to acquire property.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to intellectual property rights.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + For any intellectual property acquired by the
State Board of Higher Education, the Oregon Health and Science
University Board of Directors or a community college board with
monetary assistance from a commodity commission established under
ORS 576.051 to 576.455, the board may not take any action to
dispose of the intellectual property by sale, lease, license or
other action without the approval of a majority of the members of
the commodity commission. + }
