77th OREGON LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY--2013 Regular Session Enrolled House Bill 2131 Introduced and printed pursuant to House Rule 12.00. Presession filed (at the request of House Interim Committee on Health Care) CHAPTER ................ AN ACT Relating to the confidentiality of pest control reports; and declaring an emergency. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + (1) As used in this section: (a) 'Bedbug' means a member of the Cimicidae family of parasitic insects. (b) 'Public health authority' means: (A) A local public health authority or health district; or (B) The Oregon Health Authority. (2) The following information reported by pest control operators to a public health authority must be maintained confidentially and is not subject to disclosure under ORS 192.410 to 192.505: (a) The location of a site where a pesticide intended to prevent, destroy, repel or mitigate an infestation of bedbugs has been applied or is to be applied; (b) The identity of any person who owns, rents or leases property at the site described in paragraph (a) of this subsection; and (c) Any information describing or pertaining to the infestation or suspected infestation at the site described in paragraph (a) of this subsection.
