Requires Director of Oregon Department of Administrative Services to enter into agreement with Oregon Historical Society for society to undertake fund-raising and commission of statues of Chief Joseph and Abigail Scott Duniway, to be placed in National Statuary Hall in United States Capitol. Directs Oregon State Capitol Foundation] Requires Director of Oregon Department of Administrative Services to enter into agreement with Oregon Historical Society for society to undertake fund-raising and commission of statues of Chief Joseph and Abigail Scott Duniway, to be placed in National Statuary Hall in United States Capitol. Directs Legislative Administrator] Executive Director of Oregon Historical Society to request Architect of Capitol to seek approval of Joint Committee on Library of Congress for replacement of statues of Jason Lee and John McLoughlin with statues of Chief Joseph and Abigail Scott Duniway. Directs Oregon Heritage Commission to select places of honor in Oregon for statues of Jason Lee and John McLoughlin. Directs foundation to provide for return of Jason Lee and John McLoughlin statues to suitable locations in Oregon.] Appropriates moneys to Oregon Department of Administrative Services to fund agreement with society. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
