Summary
Provides that certain judicial marshals who, before appointment as judicial marshals, were employed as "police officers," as defined for purposes of Public Employees Retirement System, qualify as police officers under system. Provides that judicial marshal employed on effective date of Act with previous employment as police officer is entitled to service as police officer for all service performed as judicial marshal. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
