Summary

Establishes Work Group on Commercial Interior Design. Establishes Board of Work Group on Commercial Interior Design. Requires person to register with board on or after January 1, 2015, to practice commercial interior design. Directs work group to investigate, and allows work group to make recommendations for legislation on, development of standards for practicing commercial interior design. Authorizes civil penalties and other sanctions for violation of provisions relating to regulation of commercial interior design. Establishes Board of Commercial Interior Design Fund and continuously appropriates moneys in fund to board. Sunsets on date of convening of 2015 regular session of Legislative Assembly. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
