Summary
Allows Department of Consumer and Business Services to make system for electronic access to building code information available for other purposes. Allows Department of Consumer and Business Services to enter into agreement with public body to allow access to public body's construction-related services through department's electronic building codes information system. Provides for system information and services to include coordinating and tracking construction-related services.] Allows department to enter into agreement with public body to allow access to public body's construction-related services through system. Prohibits department disciplinary actions or sanctions against municipality due to municipality nonparticipation in system. Eliminates sunset on building permit surcharge used for financing operation of electronic building codes system. Reduces surcharge rate.
