Summary

Requires persons registering to vote in this state for first time to supply acceptable evidence of residency. Requires persons updating voter registration to have previously supplied acceptable evidence of residency. Defines what constitutes acceptable evidence of residency. Requires Secretary of State to conduct study on how to ensure that currently registered electors have provided acceptable evidence of residency. Becomes operative January 1, 2015. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
